Touki - Lunchtime Gig
Time & Location
Dear friends and comrades
It probably comes as no surprise that this gig has been cancelled. Touki's tour has been postponed and regardless of this we would not have gone ahead - with the potential risk to our community and the knock on effects to the NHS and the vulnerable. Touki will be back, we shall reschedule, and we shall have many gatherings when things return to some kind of normality.
We cannot wait for the next time we can, dance, sing and be together!
Very best wishes

Soup and the sensational sounds of Touki, music from 13:30...
Two young musicians meet busking in Bath, England in 2007. Life takes them on different "touki" (voyages), but brings them back together after 12+ years for a new musical adventure.
Senegalese musician Amadou Diagne and French-American musician Cory Seznec perform a mix of west African and American music with the idea of ushering in a hybrid sound of new roots music based on the merging of their styles/traditions. The result is an entrancing, groovy reverie of lilting voices, guitars, kora, banjo, and percussion.
